Surprising and Fresh Inspirations
The international community of henna artists has rapidly evolved from small pockets of artists scattered across the globe to an increasingly connected henna family where we’re all inspired and influenced by the work of artists in every corner of our world. This class will give you some new ideas and practical tools you can use to create fresh and exciting designs using your existing skills. Expect a fast-paced, interactive and hands-on session that includes some surprising and fun handouts as well as useful tips and tricks to help you expand your vision; this will include practicing your work on materials other than human skin, which in itself can be surprisingly inspiring!

Class 1:  Set up for bridal henna and for guests, and the dreaded back side of the feet:  In this class, I’d like to share what I follow as the best practice for setting up the area for bridal henna, and for henna for the guests.  It is important to be as ergonomic as possible for both the bride and the artist.  Good practices will allow comfortable and longer working hours, and minimize health issues.  We will also address how to work on the back of the foot – above the heel area, and how to easily cover it.

Class 2:  Creating mirror images and symmetry in designs:  In this class, we will explore simple and easy ways to create symmetrical designs, and near mirror images.  Most brides prefer to see symmetry in their bridal designs.  Allow me to hold your hand and erase the fears of achieving this symmetry.
